How It Works
What is RPLTM (Reactive Pulsed Light)?
RPLTM pushes the boundaries of technology, revolutionizing IPL, taking it one step further to create RPLTM . Here’s how it works: Sensica’s clinically tested RPLTM technology delivers light pulses absorbed by the melanin found in the hair shaft, generating heat and coagulating the follicle. And voila, less hair growth!
RPLTM technology is today’s most advanced hair-removal system for home use. No more repeated visits at costly clinics, just arm yourself with Sensilight and get rid of unwanted hair in no time.
Why is RPLTM technology more advanced?
Older technology such as IPL requires numerous pulses of light as well as regular pausing while treating a specific area, which means hair removal takes longer, is uncomfortable and doesn’t give you long lasting results. But thanks to RPL’s unique sensors, skin continuously reacts…with every single pulse. So you’re sure to get a safer treatment and a more effective way to remove unwanted hair on your body and face.
The Sensilight difference is safety
Besides long-lasting results at home, Sensilight features an automatic, built-in skin color sensor for complete safety no matter your skin tone. sensilight unique sensor is continuously evaluating skin tone so that the personal hair remover system performs at its best, and only on suitable areas. If your skin is too dark, or not in optimum shape for results, the smart color-sensor feature will automatically stop Sensilight.
For extra safety, sensiLight applicator tip is designed to only emit a pulse of light when in contact with skin. So you have nothing to worry about, just smoother skin to look forward to.
Before & After
Is It Right for You?
If your skin tone matches classifications 1 through 4 on the Fitzpatrick Scale, Sensilight is right for your skin type. Fitzpatrick Scale is kind of a skin-typing test that categorizes the response from different skin types to ultraviolet light. It’s a recognized tool by dermatologists.
Darker complexions have more melanin, competing with the targeted hair for energy light absorption. When skin absorbs more light energy, it’s more easily damaged. So Sensilight will be less effective on lighter hair color, such as naturally white, blonde, red or grey. The hair won’t absorb enough light energy to weaken, and eventually kill the hair follicle.

Questions and Answers
Q: What is RPL technology for hair removal?
A: RPL technology – Reactive Pulsed Light – allows Sensilight to emit high-speed flashes of light with very short intervals allowing you to glide it effortlessly and continuously over your skin. This results in treating the specific area for longer periods of time, without having to pause between each flash, allowing for quicker, longer lasting hair reduction.
Q: What is the Skin Color Sensor and other safety features?
A: Sensilight has a built-in Skin Color Sensor that’s designed to evaluate skin tone allowing it to perform only on suitable skin tones. This unique safety feature will stop treatment if your skin is too dark or too tanned.
The applicator tip of Sensilight is designed so that the light pulse can only be emitted when it’s in contact with skin. This eliminates the possibility of an accidental flash of light directed toward your eyes.
Q: Can I use Sensilight for facial hair?
A: Yes, Sensilight may be used below the cheek line, on the upper lip, cheeks, jaw, chin and neck. Don’t use in area close to eyes.
Q: Is Sensilight suitable for men?
A: Yes, Sensilight is suitable for men. However, male body hair, especially coarse chest hair requires more sessions for effective results.
Q: Do I need to do anything special before using Sensilight?
A: Start your treatment on clean, shaven skin – NO WAXING.
Q: Is Sensilight effective on black or brown hair?

Q: Are there any contraindications for using Sensilight?
A: Your safety is of utmost importance to us at all times. We, therefore, advise that people to whom any of the following apply do NOT use Sensilight: if you are pregnant or nursing; if you have skin cancer, epilepsy, severe or decompensated diabetes, broken skin/ herpes or psoriasis.
